You will meet with Giselle for your initial
trial. We will work together to decide on the hair style for your
special day and generate a plan for the hair style by:
Discussing the details of your wedding,
prom, or special event
Reviewing the personal items that you
bring to the consultation:
Photos of hairstyles that you like
Fabric swatches of your dress
Any hair accessories that you would
like to use on your special day
Examining a photo album of different
hair styles
Assessing the current status of your
hair
Determining the length of your hair
that will be needed for the hair style
Understanding which hair products are
best suited for your hair type
By the end of the consultation, we will have
chosen a hairstyle that goes with your sense of style, your dress, your
jewelry, your headpiece and veil (if they have been purchased already),
and your current hair style.
Next you will schedule an appointment for
the final trial. This trial run should be set for approximately 2 weeks
before your special day. Plan ahead effectively: choose your final
trial to be on a day when you can show off your updo! If a make-up
artist will be doing your make-up as well, try to schedule your hair
trial for the same day so that you can get a glimpse of how you will
look on your big day. A deposit is required for the scheduling of the
final trial.
Please make an appointment for your initial
trial as soon as possible to get the planning started.

include working with the hair, it's not just a consultation.
2 trials are not necessary but recommended, please view their
descriptions to understand their differences.
Bring any photos of hairstyles that
you like, fabric swatches of your dress, and any hair accessories to
the initial trial.
You do not need to purchase a
headpiece and veil before the initial trial. In fact, it is better to
plan to hairstyle first and then choose the headpiece and veil
afterwards. If you do have the headpiece and veil already, please bring
them with you.
STEP TWO: FINAL TRIAL

This final trial is to get a visual of your
final look, as if it were the day of the event. Please schedule it
approximately 2 weeks before your date. By this time, your hair will be
the same length and color as it will be for the day of the wedding.
Also, you will probably have your headpiece, veil, and jewelry ready to
pull the look together.
Plan to spend at least one hour in Giselle's
studio. She will style your hair as if it were the actual day of your
event, using any accessories and/or veil you will wear. Digital photos
and notes will be taken.
Note: 2 trials are not
necessary but recommended, please view their descriptions to
understand their differences.
Wash and completely dry your hair
before your appointment. Blowdrying will be an extra $50.
If your hair tends to get oily,
please wash your hair on the day of the final trial.
Wash and rinse shampoo and
conditioner thoroughly (or else the hair will become heavy and
unmanagable).
If you do not want your hair to be
curly on your special day, please blow dry your hair straight before
your appointment, especially around the hair line. Otherwise, Giselle
can blow your hair straight (extra 20 minutes) for an additional $50.
Blow drying is not part of the hair styling.
Wear a button-down shirt.
Bring all wedding accessories and
jewelry to the studio.

The Full Day Hair Service Package involves:
hair styling for up to 8 individuals for 8 total hours of hair styling
time (including veil changing and touch-ups for all the individuals who
had their hair done by Giselle). This package is available only for
hair styling done on location. Cost $1975.
Additional fees:
Cancellations within 4 weeks of the
special event will require payment of the full balance due.
If hair appointments are scheduled
for before 7:30 AM on your day, there will be an additional $175 per
hour or fraction of an hour, or hotel accommodations can be provided
instead.
On going touch-ups for the bride and
entire bridal party (after ceremony, portraits, and during reception)
cost $175 per hour.
For Giselle to travel to a location
on the day of the event, a minimum of three wedding party members
(includes bride) must be scheduled for on location hair styling. If the
3-person minimum requirement is not met, prices may vary.
On location services outside of the
following areas are a charge of $150: Montgomery & PG counties, N.
Va, DC.
Some locations will need to be determined on an individual basis,please
request about your area in advance.
Also, there is another Travel Fee of
$150 if Giselle travels to the location to provide hair services for
only the bridal party attendants (for when bride decides not to have
hair done on location because the travel fee is normally added into the
bride’s fee).
Client is responsible for parking
costs. Valet/parking fees incurred for “on location” appointments will
be added to the price for the bride’s hair services. These fees will
need to be paid in cash by the bride or charged to the hotel room that
the bride books (i.e., pays) for Giselle to spend the night in before
the day of the event.
Hair extensions: $275 per pack of
hair extensions + $25 for delivery of hair extensions + $50 placement
of hair extensions (includes prep, styling, and placement).
As of December 7, 2011, the additional fee of $30 is for making sure the extensions stay in for long perpiods of time. Giselle has unique techniques as a way of ensuring maximum durability throughout dancing, hugging, weather conditions, long hours, etc.
Note: Payment must be given prior to each
service rendered. Cash and Maryland checks are accepted. Checks should
be given one week prior to the event. Cash can be given to Giselle on
the day of the event.

Please allow 40 minutes for the bride, 20-30
minutes per additional wedding party member, and an additional 30
minutes of built-in cushion time. Extra time will be required for any
hair that was not dry prior to the appointment (see instructions on the
right).
Brides will receive a
complimentary sachet filled with hair necessities for the special day!
Wash your hair the evening before
the special day if possible. Your hair has more texture this way. If
your hair tends to get oily, wash it day of. A little conditioner is
helpful to prevent static.
Make sure your hair is dried
completely before the appointment. If you want Giselle to blow dry your
hair, the blow dry will take an extra 20 minutes for short and
medium-length hair, and an extra 30 minutes for long hair (hair that
reaches down to middle of back or lower). Additional fee of $50. Blow
drying is not part of the hair styling.

On the special day, wear a
button-down shirt.
Black tie events held on Saturdays
are $325.

PORTRAIT UPDOS
Your hair can be styled so that you can look
beautiful in your portraits. Contact Giselle to schedule your
appointment.
All trial runs remain at my studio/residence, on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
from 1pm-3pm (3pm last appointmet taken), Thursday, Friday from 1pm-5pm (5pm last appointment taken), and Saturdays
- very early before my weddings or after weddings - late in the day (need flexibility with timing on this day due to it being a big wedding day). Sundays - sometimes, with exceptions.

'Hair Image
Consulting':
This will better help with your hair styles/updos in knowing what to
plan for.
What length is needed (especially working with bangs, they almost
always need to be reshaped, and tapered before the wedding).
Color is essential.
Highlights and/or low lights offer depth and definition to any hair
style, even if it is just a 1/2 shade difference in color.
Giselle will be able to determine the final look with you, already
knowing your hair style from the trial run (if you are a bride-to-be).
She will be able to make color corrections and know how much length to
remove for your particular needs !
